Open it

  1. On the Quit tab, tap I have a craving (10 minutes to let it pass).
  2. What do you crave? Pick one of your habits to quit, or Something else for a craving that isn't one of your habits.

On Android, you can also start it from a shortcut on the app icon or from the Craving widgets.

The calm screen

A dark screen opens: The urge passes. Wait it out with me. A ten-minute countdown sits inside a breathing circle that grows and shrinks with your breath. Below it, Your reason shows why you are quitting, in your own words.

Choose your breathing

Tap change under the circle. Four rhythms are available: Heart coherence (5 s in, 5 s out), 4-7-8, Belly and Alternate nostrils. Your choice is kept for next time.

Other ideas

Other ideas suggests a few simple things while the minutes pass: Drink a glass of water, Walk for 5 minutes, Call someone.

How it ends

Tap It passed or I gave in. Both are fine: see after a craving.

Tip. Why ten minutes works: ride out the craving instead of fighting it.
